Our School – 2024 Student Leadership

At St. John’s Parish School, student leadership is an integral part of our community. Each year during Term 4, we elect two School Captains and two Vice-Captains, whose names are announced at the year’s end. Additionally, House Captains and Vice-Captains are appointed during this period. In early Term 1, Year 6 Library Monitors are also announced, adding to our leadership team.

Our school leaders and a representative from each year level (K – 6) hold regular meetings with the Principal. Together, they collaborate on planning whole-school assemblies and organizing various events. The year representatives rotate each term, ensuring a diverse and inclusive approach to leadership development. To provide equal opportunities, students are typically limited to serving on the Student Representative Council (SRC) for two terms—one during the infant years (Years K, 1, and 2) and another during primary years (Years 3, 4, 5, and 6). This structure fosters a balanced and inclusive leadership experience for our students.
